For her latest cover version, Anastacia has once again chosen an optimistic and life-affirming song:
“An guten Tagen” by Johannes Oerding from 2019 is about gratitude, joie de vivre and the magical moments that make up our lives. A song that reminds us to cherish every moment.
The song makes you contemplate about life and at the same time gives hope and confidence. With its catchy chorus and cheerful melody, Anastacia’s new song is also instantly catchy!
Which German songs does Anastacia cover as well?
“Best Days” and “Supergirl” have been released so far. From the original song by Rea Garvey’s band Reamonn, Anastacia again creates a completely new version and something entirely her own with her unmistakable voice.
In this case, she didn’t have to do as much translation work either: although the hit “Supergirl” was mostly successful in the German charts, it is an English song.
And who doesn’t immediately think of Anastacia’s moving life story when they hear “I’m a supergirl and supergirls just fly”?
The next single “Anastacia Now or Never” will be released on August 25.
The album “Our Songs” also includes other highlights such as Unheilig’s hit “Born To Live” (“Geboren um zu leben,” released in 2010) and “Monsoon” from Tokio Hotel’s debut album in 2005.
